Minutes of Extraordinary Meeting of
Castle Combe Parish Council at 7.00pm on 19th June 2025
held in the Village Hall.
Present: Cllrs. F. Winup, J. Mackelden, J. Halliday, S. Bettles.
- Apologies for absence: Cllrs. B. Blair, G.CleggLittler
- Declarations of Interest:
- To consider any applications for the vacant councillor position following the resignation of Cllr Prior.
A written application was received from Gareth Hare which meets the domicile and other requirements for councillorship.
Cllr Bettles proposed that Mr Hare be co-opted in accordance with the co-option procedures, seconded by Cllr Halliday and agreed unanimously.
The Responsible Financial Officer will now prepare the necessary documentation including Acceptance of Office.
